President Robert Jones – Robert established Global Business Synergies (GBS) in 2015 following a career of almost 22 years as a Foreign Service Officer with the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Robert served and worked in countries throughout the Americas and in Europe, facilitating international trade development and investment opportunities, as well as advocating with senior government officials worldwide to foment job creation and economic development.
Background
Prior to his service with the U.S. government, Robert worked for major
trade associations in the Washington, D.C. area for 10 years, organizing global business
development programs for U.S. firms in the franchise, graphic arts and transportation
industries. Robert has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in
Glendale, Arizona. He grew up in Lahore, Pakistan as the son of a U.S. Foreign Service
Officer and is married with two adult children.
